Key to the design was creating a large open plan kitchen/living/dining space the whole family could enjoy, and which would connect to the outdoors. “Tony was really keen to connect us to the external space around the house, which now allows us to extend the open plan area directly onto the rear garden. This effectively allows us to double our living area and fully enjoy outdoor activities with the kids, BBQS and entertaining around the outside kitchen and fireplace,” says Paul. Separate living spaces allow family members privacy when required. Upstairs, a generous master suite benefits from a dressing room and en suite, while three other bedrooms (one with en suite) and a family bathroom occupy this level. On the lower ground floor ( not shown), the former garage has been converted into an annexe.
