Homebuilding & Renovating - - The Brief Ground Source Heat Pumps -

As part of an extensive renovation project, the owners of this farm converted nine old barns and crumbling outbuildings into domestic dwellings , each featuring their own GSHP inside each property, which are independently controlled and billed. Each heat pump (from Kensa’s new Evo Series) is connected to borehole pipework in the ground, creating a ‘micro’ district heating system. This district configuration qualifies the heat pump installation for 20 years of guaranteed quarterly income through the Government’s Non Domestic Renewable Heat Incentive (RHI), more than offsetting the cost of the work, and providing a generous return on investment.
