The Waldmans swapped their garage for an annexe

Stuart and Margaret Waldman decided to build an annexe in order to pass on their existing home to their daughter. The annexe was designed and built by The Wee House Company (theweehousecompany.co.uk) to replace an existing 3.6m-wide garage, so that the view from the street would remain the same; it had to be craned into position ( shown). Permission was obtained for ancillary accommodation, so the annexe cannot be let or sold independently of the main house. “Moving house and adjusting to ‘downsizing’ has been made easy as our ‘wee house’ is so comfortable, warm and well appointed.
