Potton is a package home company, which means that we’re not limited to supplying the superstructure. We can also design your home, guide you through the planning process, construct foundations, fit windows, doors and the staircase, as well as supply and fit the roof finishes.
BESPOKE TIMBER FRAMES
We supply timber frame structures to your design, whether you have existing plans or you work with our designers to come up with your ideal home. We pre-cut and assemble the timber frame in our factory, precision engineering resulting in less material waste. Once on site we assemble the superstructure, ready for you or your contractor to take over the exterior cladding and interior fit-out.

Sustainable and energy efficient: We hold chain of custody certification from both the FSC and PEFC, and source our timber from forests that hold the same certification. Trees emit oxygen and take in carbon dioxide as they grow. Carbon dioxide is an important greenhouse gas and fixing it inside timber helps address climate change. Timber-frame building systems not only fix carbon but also deliver the benefits of off-site construction and make complying with the modern consumer’s demanding energy efficiency expectations straightforward.
Quicker build time: Because the structure is cut and assembled in the factory, time on site is reduced by weeks, compared to masonry building methods. There’s less chance of delay due to bad weather because the superstructure can be erected and made weathertight very quickly.

Equally importantly, timber frame systems are safer because much more work is carried in out in a safe controlled factory environment.
