OLD MASTER PAINTINGS AT BONHAMS

Uncover sublime paintings by Europe’s seminal Old Masters at Bonhams this season. Star lots include this religious portrait of Archbishop San Carlo Borromeo kneeling in prayer before the Santo Clavo (pictured below). Painted by Spanish artist Francisco de Zurbarán (1598-1664), this extraordinarily lifelike painting is estimated to reach between £100,000-£150,000 on 4th July.
