LONG STREET Tetbury ,

-

Anne Fowler (annefowlertetbury.co.uk) moved from Bath to the Cotswolds town in 1995 to join the great antiques scene on the main thoroughfare. ‘ Everyone o#ers something di #erent on this street,’ she says. ‘ It has been like this for as long as I can remember, although, before the supermarkets came along, there were more greengrocers and butchers.’ At one end is the iconic pillared market house built in 1655 when Tetbury was a thriving wool town. The most recent addition is the smart interiors shop

ANTIQBR (antiqbr.co.uk) at number 33, while well-known antiques purveyors Lorfords (lorfordsantiques.com), Brownrigg (brownrigg-interiors. co.uk ) and The Decorator Source (thedecoratorsource.co.uk) all occupy

Long Street too. The aptly named Cafe 53 (cafe53.strikingly.com) is the place to relax and refuel a !er all that browsing and shopping.
