Rug designer Amy Kent talks us through how she’s creating a cosy and warm home this Christmas

‘I’ve recently moved into a pre!y li!le converted barn that I love and, now we’re in the middle of winter, it’s all about hunkering down and ge ing cosy. We have two log burners, which I think are essential, and I’ve already stacked a winter’s worth of logs by the "replace. The lighting in our si!ing room was too bright so I’ve taken out the main lights and focused on occasional lighting – using standing and table lamps to give a warm glow.’
