Art produced from 1900 to the present day will be offered at Dreweatts’ twiceyearly sale, with big-name artists represented including Bridget Riley, Sir Terry Frost, DameD Elisabeth Frink, HenrynryMoore,Moore, DavidD Shrigley and the Los Angeles street artist, Mr Brainwash. Estimates for the 150 lots start in the low to mid hundreds of pounds for limited- edition prints, rising to £50,000 (or very likely, much muchmore) more) for a recently authenticated Mother andChildandChild lead sculpture by HenryMoore.HenryMoore. ‘The work was conceived c1939–1940, at a time whenwhenMooreMoore was experimenting with casting in different materials and incorporating inco elements in string and wire,’ wire says Dreweatts picture specialist Francesca Fra Whitham. ‘Moore only worked for a short period of time in lead and this piece piec is unique, meaning it is not part of an eedition.’ Joining ‘The Moore’ as the piece piec is known by its current owners, the Hastings Has family, will be Dame Elisabeth Frink’s Fri Small Male Figure, cast in an edition edi of 15 and a commission from the National Na Ankylosing Spondylitis Society.
