Textured seedheads

-

Inject texture and movement into your garden with beautiful autumn seedheads. Match the buff tones and wand-like stems of grasses, such as molinia and miscanthus, with dark red hylotelephium (left). These flat-topped blooms will produce chocolatebrown seedheads as the season progresses. Mix in groups of cone flowers (rudbeckia and echinacea) and sea hollies (eryngium). Both flowers and grasses provide a presence throughout winter, creating a magical landscape when dusted with frost and snow.
