spiced nuts makes 3-4 bags
These are so good and make the perfect accompaniment to the Lemon Thyme Gin.
500g mixed nuts 1 tsp sea salt 1 tsp cumin seeds 2 tsp fennel seeds ½ tsp dried chilli flakes 1 tsp dried oregano ½ tsp honey Preheat the oven to 180°C/fan 160°C/gas 4. Place the nuts on an oven tray and roast for 10 minutes, stirring after 5. Sprinkle with the salt, cumin, fennel, chilli flakes and oregano. Roast for another 5 minutes, or until the nuts are golden and the aroma of the spices has been released. Fold the honey through the nuts and set aside to cool. Package in cellophane bags, tied with a ribbon and gift label.
