Once a tired hotel with an unappealing Sixties wing, the new owners’ recent major renovations have restored the property’s exquisite 19th-century façade and ordained the hotel as Cambridge’s hotspot du jour. Interior design was overseen by zeitgeist-riding designer Martin Brudnizki, whose work here is an effortless study in collegiate charm.
