10 to 15 March for London Design Week 2019 at Design Centre, Chelsea Harbour. The world’s premier design destination will be welcoming in the new season with an inspiring programme of immersive experiences, talks, demonstrations, workshops and discovery tours, as well as launching new collections from some 600 international brands at 120 showrooms.

One of the highlights is Conversations in Design, a series of live interviews and panel discussions with industry experts, interiors influencers and style gurus. As Homes & Gardens celebrates its centenary, editorial director Sarah Spiteri is delighted to be hosting a keynote session, Design Heritage: Inspired by the past to

reimagine the future. Joining her will be Russell Sage of Russell Sage Studio, fresh from his latest project restoring, revamping and reinvigorating a Victorian lodge in Braemar; Katharine Pooley, whose studio has worked on landmark projects including barns, castles and listed townhouses throughout the world; and Beata Heuman, a designer renowned for taking inspiration from the past in order to create imaginative designs for today. In what promises to be a fascinating talk, they will be tapping into their collective experience to explore how a respect for our rich and enduring design heritage is key to creating vibrant work for the future.
