After years in the advertising industry, Sophie Caulfeild wanted a career change so for three years she spent her evenings learning everything about clay. It was after joining a pottery studio in south London that she began to design her own range of tiles. Feild – a name inspired by Sophie’s surname – now works with two factories in Portugal and one in the UK, each specialising in a different glazing technique. These jolly cherry tiles, £16.60 each, are handmade and hand-painted, and available online at feild.works.
