BHS REACHES A MEMBER MILESTONE

THE British Horse Society (BHS) is celebrating as its membership is now 100,000.

The BHS said membership helps fund its “vital work” in education, welfare, access and safety.

“A larger membership gives the BHS a greater voice when it lobbies government on behalf of the horse, and those who care for them,” said a spokesman.

BHS membership director Emma Day added: “We wouldn’t have been able to achieve what we have without our members.”
