NO MORE WOBBLES...
Sir — After 25 years of acting as groom and spectator to my daughter, I took up the
Wobbleberry Challenge [billed as being “for middle-aged, wimpy riders inspired by Hannah Francis”, a young eventer who died of cancer].
I trained hard all year and did my challenge at Little Downham on 30 September. And what a wonderful time I had, facing my fears, beating them and raising a lot of money for Hannah’s Wilberry Wonder Pony charity.
How proud Hannah’s parents and family must be — even though she is no longer with us, her legacy lives on. Her charity will make a difference to those suffering from osteosarcoma, and let’s hope this disease will soon be beaten. Thank you, Hannah. Jackie Dunton
