PETERS JOINS BE BOARD

JANE PETERS received 33% of votes to win the British Eventing (BE) board director elections at the annual general meeting at Osberton on 29 September. Northumberland-based Jane, 59, is a former Pony Club district commissioner and has been chair of the BE under-18 programme since 2010.

Jane said: “I’m looking forward to my first board meeting. I think I can bring something to the board that they’re not well represented with at the moment with under-18s and training and education, particularly of riders and coaching, and also for amateurs and the grassroots riders.”
