A HAT-TRICK FOR DAIQUIRI

-

VERITY FRANK’S stallion Flayne Don Daiquiri (Dax), a Don Gregory British warmblood, was the sire of three title winners.

Two of these, the prelim winner, Dora The Explorer, ridden by Pippa Beckett-Atkins and the novice silver winner, Delilah Rose (Jess Ziae), were both bred by Tory Carr, and both scored plus-70%.

Verity piloted her own Flayne Dragon Slayer (pictured), a nine-year-old out of a thoroughbred mare, to victory in the silver elementary freestyle. And her five-year-old Daiquiri’s Jiggery Pokery picked up a third place in the silver novice freestyle.

“I competed Dax at small tour until a couple of years ago, but now he concentrates on stud duties and I have some promising youngsters to produce,” said Verity.
