FOUR THRILLERS:
WELSH: won by 13-year-old Raz De Maree, who would not have been in a shortlist of six to win the race turning in.
IRISH: a bunch finish with a length-and-a-half between the first five. Bellshill’s left-handed cat jump at the last opened it up for Gordon Elliott’s General Principle to win by a head.
ENGLISH: six lengths clear at the elbow, Tiger Roll wins by a fast-diminishing head and in desperate need of the line after, Pleasant Company finishes with a wet sail.
SCOTTISH: another headbobber with Joe Farrell just hanging on from Ballyoptic.
