‘THE MOST COMPETITIVE CIC3*’

JULIA KRAJEWSKI followed up her Bramham CCI3* win by taking the Messmer Trophy — the CIC3* that acts as the German national championships. For the second weekend running she finished on her sub-20 dressage score; this time 19.9, with her 2017 Luhmühlen CCI4* winner Samourai Du Thot (pictured).

This is probably the most competitive CIC3* of the year; Ingrid Klimke finished second on her European champion Horseware Hale Bob, while Yoshiaki Oiwa once again demonstrated that he could be an individual medal contender by Tokyo 2020. He was third on The Duke Of Cavan, with Bettina Hoy and Designer 10 fourth.
