‘GARY, THE MIRACLE MAN’
AFTER many years together, Claire Langrish, a sheep breeder from Romney Marsh, and Blushing Boy know each other inside out. But Claire could not understand why her son of Primitive Star had not performed well in working hunter classes recently.
With help from Claire’s farrier and a physiotherapist, Blushing Boy was back to his best here to take the championship and his HOYS place.
“I do wish horses could talk because I thought he wasn’t trying, but Gary, my fantastic farrier, picked up one hindleg and told me his back wasn’t right. After one visit from the physio, he was a different horse,” explained Claire. “Today is definitely down to Gary, the miracle man.”
