HOYS STEPS IN TO HELP CHARITY

THE Horse of the Year Show (HOYS) has offered for auction a “money can’t buy” experience in aid of a charity hit by thieves.

The Mark Davies Injured Riders Fund’s van, filled with stock, was stolen en route to Burghley in August.

HOYS has donated two hospitality tickets to their show for 4 September, as well a three-course meal, table service and a chance to meet Carl Hester.

Administrator and fund co-ordinator Rosemary Lang said the charity “cannot thank HOYS enough”.

Bids are being taken online, bit.ly/HOYSAuction, until 21 September.
