“IT FELT A BIT SURREAL”

-

“I WAS holding my breath for the last couple of movements,” admitted Katie Radzik of Showkia’s para individual grade IV test at Saddlesdane EC, Kent. “It felt a bit surreal. Regardless of the score [74.02%], I’d have been pleased.”

The pair’s win was in addition to a medium 75 victory. Their performances bode well for Keysoe later this month, which will be the first international show for the 11-year-old warmblood gelding.

“He is very big-moving, so it has taken me a long time to get used to that,” said Katie, who teamed up with Showkia a year ago. “We’re really starting to find a partnership.”
