IN-HAND TOOLS AND SPANISH WALK

RIDING to a burlesque-themed soundtrack that had onlookers clapping, Tracy Fall enjoyed a medium freestyle win at Keysoe, Beds, with Mount Pleasant San Lorenzo. The 10-yearold Sarkozy gelding has a chequered health history, having suffered a series of lameness issues and subsequent surgeries.

“Jack”, who also claimed the medium 73 qualifier, has recently starred in the training series “Adventures with Jenku”, mastering in-hand movements such as travers and Spanish walk with horseman Jenku Dietrichsen.

“Jack has been written off so many times, but the in-hand work has given me additional tools and ideas to keep him working without such wear and tear,” said Tracy, who describes him as the joker in the pack. “I’ll do as Jack tells me to do, but he seems to be thriving on it.”
