THE Red Dragon Festival of Endurance will come back “bigger and better” after a spike in coronavirus cases forced its cancellation.

Organisers have promised the event, due to be held on 3 and 4 October in Wales, will “rise again” next year.

John and Jane Hudson said they had been overwhelmed by entries and support for the traditional finale of the domestic endurance season.

Mr Hudson said: “This has given us the impetus to ensure next time it will be bigger and better than ever.”

The Endurance GB season has been extended until the end of the year.
