WHILE competitors may miss socialising at the scoreboard, many have praised the smooth-running of events run under Covid-19 safety guidelines.

“West Wilts EC was excellent,” said Jessica Yeung, who headed the elementary 53 qualifier with Briarwood Reign Of Fire.

“This was our second competition after a difficult 18 months, in which I underwent surgery and then moved house a week before Christmas. He is a horse who suffers stage fright, so going out regularly is very important for him.”
