On that note, top prank marks to Baileys Horse Feeds, which announced a new “Matchy Matchy Mix”, the ingredients of which use an “iron-chelation process” to dye manes, tails and legs from the inside. Hats off, good sirs and madams.

Many people are rather irked when others refer to horses as half-siblings when they share a sire, rather than a dam. But one took it a step further by describing a horse as a “step-sister of”. So was it the stallion who married twice, or the mare?
