Full house for Team Jinks

BSPS Area 3B novice, Speetley EC, Derbyshire

THE Jinks show team dominated in plaited ranks with a brace of exciting ponies. Helen Davies’ 122cm hunter pony Annandale Toy Soldier topped his section with Florence Davies. The sevenyear-old has been ultra-successful

on the lead-rein, placing second at the Royal International (RIHS).

“He’s taken to going o… the rein well,” said co-producer Adam Forster. “He’s full of quality and substance, and is charming.”

The show pony equivalent went to 148cm contender Brindlebrook Masterpiece and Charlotte CaulŽeld. The seven-year-old used to be a breeding stallion at the Brindlebrook Stud. This was his second outing under saddle.

“He’s super glamorous,” added Adam. “He likes his work and has really gelled with Charlotte.”

Reise Shakespeare piloted show riding type Howetown Hollys Legacy to clinch the novice intermediate section tricolour. The Žve-year-old mare was backed in October and was making her Žrst appearance in the show ring.

Adding to the tally were

Serena Crump’s open hunter pony champion Carnsdale Cadenza (Anna Crump), Rebecca Leach’s open mini show pony victor Barkway AlŽe Moon (Tilly Leach) and Anthony Gribbin’s champion open show pony Stretcholt About Time (Reise Shakespeare).

Polly Coles found favour in the horse championship aboard her own cob Randalstown Cromwell.
