AS NATURE INTENDED

FURTHER to your news item, “Make-up warning and new classes for ponies” (8 April), perhaps an “au naturel” class could be introduced – beginning with local shows, Pony Club, county shows and eventually moving up the ranks.

It would allow the grassroots competitor to compete knowing they don’t have to shell out on expensive illusions. It would also be interesting to see how many experienced competitors would actually enter such a class.
