“YOU’RE NOT HAVING HER BACK!”

-

SEVERAL riders scored at intermediate level on new rides.

Laura Collett took section F by more than seven marks on the seven-year-old mare Jalba O, whom she is riding while Georgia Bartlett is out with a broken arm.

“I did get off and say, ‘You’re not having her back!’” said Laura. “That was Jalba O’s first intermediate – she’s dreamy.”

Ludwig Svennerstål won section B on Vivero, an eight-year-old who has recently come over from Sweden.

“He’s the real deal – this is only my third show with him and he’s been fantastic,” said Ludwig.

Caroline Harris made her first outing on Bella Butterworth’s Amoroso Gigi Z since August 2017 a winning one, taking section C on their dressage mark of 30.5. The mare has been campaigned by Bella in the interim.

The fourth intermediate went to Harry Meade, fresh from his Kentucky success, on Russeljacket.
