Doubling its size and including a vaulted ceiling has given Gill Hayes, 49, the bedroom she always wanted.

Gill lives with her husband Ian, 53, Louis, 13, and Alex, 12, in a fourbedroom detached 1950s house in Epsom, Surrey, which they moved into more than a decade ago.
