One of the easiest tricks in an interior stylist’s book is to display single stems in a line-up of vases. This is particularly simple if you use one type of flower, but give it more interest by mixing varieties such as with the Clematis ‘River Dance’, scabious, asclepias and nigella here. ‘Astrantia gives a garden look to flower arrangements. Anemones and nigella are very short-lived, so enjoy their beauty while they last,’ says Kally Ellis from florist McQueens.
