JAPANESE MAPLE

Acer palmatum is an elegant addition to any garden, particularly in autumn when, depending on the variety, their leaves turn deep red, vibrant yellow or striking purple. These compact, deciduous trees prefer a sheltered spot, dappled shade and, ideally, slightly acidic soil.
