Time to tidy

- SARAH KEADY Style & Interiors Director

It’s so satisfying to get organised and create more space and it’s not so much about living a minimal life free from ‘things’ (that said I wouldn’t actually know being a self-confessed collector of all things random), but rather showing off what we love. There’s something special about curating our belongings that bring us joy – after all, it’s this ‘stuff ’ that connects us to our homes.

I’m betting that this year a lot of us have probably re-organised things in a way that we have never done before, as we get used to a different way of living. It’s really changed the way I curate areas in my home and I think that mentality will carry on this year and beyond. Although I may actually have to stop re-dressing mere corners for those Insta pics and Zoom calls…

But don’t listen to me – the real experts here are Clea Shearer and Joanna Teplin (see opposite), the duo behind the hit Netflix show The Home Edit, that exploded onto our screens last year. Their fun approach is timely and reflected through glorious technicolour displays and clever tips to keep your clutter at bay.

Don’t forget to send any photos of personal triumphs using #loveyourspace on Instagram so we can revel in your creativity.
