CLEAN AND CLEAR
Research by the Royal Horticultural Society suggests that having plants in our homes can improve the interior air quality while reducing stress levels. Among the houseplants with the potential to boost wellbeing, they list mother-in-law’s tongue, bamboo palm and the jade plant. Happily, they’re easy to maintain and relatively simple to source. Further academic studies have shown that flowers have similar benefits – chrysanthemums have air purifying qualities, while roses have been shown to improve our general mood.
