Embrace the good life and create your own outdoor kitchen herb garden by upcycling an old table. Begin by removing the legs from the tabletop, then sand all surfaces. Invert the tabletop and reattach the legs to create a raised soil bed. Dust down and apply two coats of wood protection in your choice of colour, allowing the first coat to dry for three to four hours. Once dry, fill the bed with soil and plant herbs in rows, leaving 5cm gaps between plants.
