1 Find a building company that will give professional advice and talk through every stage, including costs. Ask to visit another garden room to see how it could work on your property. 2 When planning things out, consider the timing of your build – poor weather could really slow things down. 3 Think about access to your garden room and whether a path may be needed – and remember, there will be quite a lot of upheaval, especially when a mini-digger is brought in!
