Be brave with your colour choices to create a wow-factor space

Goodbye neutrals, hello mismatched shades. Pairings that sit opposite each other on the colour wheel, such as blue and orange, complement each other perfectly, and offer a brilliant opportunity to get experimental.

Punchy shades of pink and purple work well on their own but together they’re a powerhouse. Turn these couplings up a notch or tone down by playing around with the brightness of both hues.

Use striking accents against contrasting neutrals to highlight architectural details, such as a dado rail, alcoves or a fire surround, without overpowering the overall scheme.
