Once a year, Andrea Bocelli returns to the small town of Lajatico, where he was born, to host an open-air concert. This unique event takes place in the Teatro del Silenzio (Theatre of Silence), which opened in 2006 and was built especially for the maestro’s concerts; it’s so named as such because it remains silent for the rest of the year.
This concert will be the highlight of your five-night stay in Florence, where you’ll have plenty of time to take in its sights, including Michelangelo’s David and the Duomo.
