COLOUR BLOCKING

We love an unexpected trend, especially one that shouldn’t work but just kind of does. Our new fave is two-tone colour schemes with a twist – forget pairing complementary shades for a matchy-matchy look and go for truly contrasting colours. Here, super-moody blue walls are made more cheerful with an uplifting is-it-coral-or-is-it-blancmange pink shade on the cabinetry. The coral is brighter than the soft millennial pink we’ve seen everywhere, making it the perfect pick-me-up for the blue. See? It just works.
