An­cient city gets older

The an­cient city of Koh Ker, Cam­bo­dia, was pre­vi­ously thought to have been in­hab­ited for just 20 years in the 10th cen­tury CE be­fore be­ing quickly aban­doned. How­ever, re­searchers from the Univer­sity of Syd­ney, Aus­tralia, have found ev­i­dence to sug­gest Koh Ker was in fact oc­cu­pied at least as far back as the late 7th cen­tury CE.
