PANEL TYPES

All solar panels work to make the Sun’s energy usable, but different types convert this in different ways. While photovoltaic panels create electricity, solar thermal panels use the Sun’s heat to warm up water by connecting to a building’s boiler.

After trapping the heat within the solar panels, a heat-transfer fluid – made of water and glycol – transports the heat energy between the two appliances.
