Carnivorou­s plants usually live on a diet of insects and other invertebra­tes, but some have been discovered with the remains of lizards and frogs in their traps. The world’s largest meateating plant is Nepenthes rajah, a pitcher plant native to Borneo. Its pitcher is so big that it occasional­ly traps rats.
