GOLFODULCEAN POISON FROG

Found throughout Costa Rica, these stripy frogs typically dwell between tree roots or hide in rock crevices. Although a member of the Phyllobates genus, these frogs are more dangerous to other animal predators than humans. Snakes have been witnessed seizing them and experiencing muscular distress for hours after.
