AI is also utilised in autonomous cars and traffic control. In Tesla cars, AI is used to anticipate the movement of the objects around vehicles, such as pedestrians and cyclists. Car manufacturers including Tesla have also created thousands of autonomous self-driving vehicles with AI software, which has been trained by Tesla supercomputers. Tesla’s AI software has been developed to comb through raw footage during a drive and detect potential road obstacles, layouts and much more. Building one of Tesla’s full AI autopilot neural networks takes 70,000 GPU hours to train.
