» TV comic lined-up for LBT

HUDDERSFIE­LD cricketer and model Max Morley is a star of T V’s latest of reality show.

The former Huddersfie­ld New College Academy cricketer has joined the cast of IT V show Love Island.

He and Yorkshire girl Bethany Rogers joined the cast in the Spanish sunshine this week.

The show has brought 12 single people together on a sunkissed island with the winner set to collect £50,000.

Max is a profession­al cricketer and former player for Durham County Cricket Club, after starting his career at Holmfirth.

He told show bosses that after dating Miss Newcastle for eight months, he “always live life to the Max”.

Max, 22, is setting his sights on his very own Miss Love Island, whoever she may be...

“Blondes, blondes, blondes!”!” he proudly declares, as long ass they don’t give him any “banter”, which apparently would be his worst nightmare.

Newspaper reports say the cricketer has plenty of experience in scoring, and claims to have slept with over 2000 girls.

He is recently single and loves to wine and dine a girl and describes his type as ‘blonde, blonde, blonde.’

The show was first screened back in 2005 and this is a revived format.

Max ha has proved to be a very t talented young cricke cricketer in Huddersfie­ld. When he was 17, the l left-arm spinner was the only player from the Huddersfie­ld area to win selecti selection from the trials an and was chosen to play for Yorkshire in mat matches against te teams from Notts, D Derbyshire, Lancashire and Durh ham.

Canadian Bobby Mair will take to the stage on July 2 in the Comedy Cellar.

Amongst the programmes he has appeared on are ‘8 out of 10 Cats’, ‘Russell Howard’s Big News’, ‘Never Mind The Buzzcocks’ and ‘Sean Walsh’s Late Night Comedy Spectacula­r’.
