HUDDERSFIE­LD Giants have been handed a potentiall­y moneyspinn­ing second phase of the Super League season.

Having qualified for the Super 8s, head coach Rick Stone’s side will face West Yorkshire rivals table-topping Castleford Tigers, second placed Leeds Rhinos and Wakefield Trinity, who finished the regular season in fifth place, at the John Smith’s Stadium.

The 27-year-old defender, who scored the winning penalty at Wembley to seal Town’s promotion to the Premier League, has signed a new deal running until 2020 – with Town having the option of a further year’s extension in 2021.

“Christophe­r was one of our standout players last year, he adapted really well to English football and has developed during the year he’s been with us,” said head coach David Wagner.
