LONGWOOD Harriers put in a fantastic performanc­e at the third Northern Track and Field League meeting on Sunday 8th July 2018 at Wakefield. Results as follows: meters A in 30.0 secs. 4th in 100 meters Hurdles A in 22.1 secs. - 1st in 100 meters B in 14.8 secs. 2nd in 200 meters B in 33.4 secs. 1st High Jump B with 1.25 meters. - 1st in 400 meters A in 66.2 secs. 1st in 400 meters Hurdles A in 78.6 secs. 7th in Long Jump A with 4.01 meters. 5th in Triple Jump A with 8.81 meters. - 2nd in 800 meters A in 3:06.0. - 2nd in 1500 meters A in 5:39.5. 2nd in 3000 meters - 1st in 400 meters A in 71.4 secs. 4th in Long Jump B with 3.58 meters. 3rd in Triple Jump B with 7.83 meters. - 3rd in 800 meters B in 3:47.3. 3rd in 1500 meters B in 6:39.4. 3rd in 3000 meters B in 15:26.5. - 3rd in Hammer A with 25.69 meters. 5th in Discus A with 15.89 meters. 4th in Shot Putt with 8.50 meters. - 6th in Javelin A with 12.73 meters. 3rd in Hammer B with 14.01 meters. 2nd in Discus B with 13.50 meters. 6th in Shot Putt B with 5.42 meters. - 4th Javelin B with 8.07 meters.

Corban Wood from Longwood Harriers got the Yorkshire county medley relay off to a fabulous start on Saturday, 7th July at the northern inter counties championsh­ips. They finished second, being pipped on the 800m last leg.

Meanwhile Longwood Harriers put in some great performanc­es and picked up some placings in the Helen Windsor Yorkshire Vets 10K Championsh­ips on 5th July.
