Does Golden Point get the right result?
GOLDEN Point extra time will be in use for the first time in Super League in 2019.
It means that any regular-season game that ends in a draw will have two, five-minute periods where the first point scored ends the game.
It has been introduced to ensure all games have a result and is a popular rule in Australia in the NRL, where it has been in force since 2003.
Since Golden Point is a new thing in England, we asked three people who know exactly what this rule is all about and whether it will be a good addition to Super League.
