When should the future begin?

Smart meters are crucial in helping us tackle climate change and reduce our carbon footprint. Potentially they’ll help us save a staggering 29.7 million tonnes of CO2 by 2030. That’s the equivalent of taking 600,000 cars off the road. And they’re already making a difference. Millions of households are benefitting from a smart meter. Eight in ten smart meter owners have taken steps to reduce their energy use and around three quarters would recommend one to others.
