Clean up our streets
I SUPPOSE a member of the public has to stick their neck out and say most of our community are hard-working, decent, law-abiding and try to bring our kids up right.
Our town seems to be blighted by some who are using a different rule book. Living a long time in Huddersfield, crime, especially violent crime, is the worst I have ever seen. Are our streets safe? Is the excuse of police shortages acceptable to rate-payers?
So many incidents come to court and the culprit leaves smiling at his lenient sentence. Many kids are a bit wild growing up but levels now are shocking. MPs only have Brexit on their minds. Forget it, clean our streets up first.
